*Next week is the annual “Lawyers in Libraries” statewide week of service. Between October 21-26, people can receive limited legal advice from pro bono attorneys for civil matters at public libraries in 61 parishes across the state. Click herefor the list of parishes hosting the event.
*Early voting for the November 16, 2019 general election begins Saturday, November 2 through Saturday, November 9 (except Sunday, November 3) from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Registrar of Voters office on the 1st floor of the Government Tower building.
*On Election Day, November 16, polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m.
The Map Department (formerly Microfilm Department) is located in the basement of the Clerk of Court’s Office.

Numbering and preparing of original acts for binding.
Helping customer research of maps and documents.
Scanning, preserving, and indexing all original maps.
Printing copies of original acts for Mortgage Department books.
