Jury Department
The Jury Department is located at 415 Goode St., one block from the Old Courthouse building.
Supervisor: Rebecca Carlos
The Jury Department is responsible for the drawing of all Civil, Criminal, and Grand Juries and issuing the summonses for all of the prospective jurors drawn.
Other duties include:
- Issuing notification to the local newspaper of prospective jurors in Criminal matters.
- Notification to attorneys of the drawing of prospective jurors in Civil matters.
- Calling of the roll call of all juries.
- Reporting juror information (mileage and days served) to the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government for proper payment to jurors and prospective jurors.
