Conveyance / Copy Department
The Conveyance / Copy Department is located on the 1st floor of the Clerk of Court’s Office.
Supervisor: Renee Ledet
The Copy Department is responsible for making copies of records dating from 1822 to the present. The Copy Department, which holds all of the Conveyance records, has the availability to make copies of Judgments of Divorces, Miscellaneous Acts, Emancipations, Sheriff’s Sale Records, Power of Attorney, Discharges from the Armed Forces, and other Miscellaneous Acts. Original recorded Acts from the very early 1800's to current date are accessible from this department.
The index to Plats (maps), Partnerships, Wills, and Corporation Records are also available for viewing in this department.
The maps and index of tombs for upper and lower Terrebonne Parish cemeteries are now available for viewing in our conveyance department. These books are provided through courtesy of the Terrebonne Genealogical Society.
